We are excited to announce the final programme for the Symposium “Multiliteracies for Plurilingual Societies. Dialogues for Sustainable Communication.”

This event will present the results of the project “Multiliteracies for adult at risk learners of additional languages” (REF. PID2020-113460RB-I00, funded by MCIN/ AEI/10.13039/501100011033/), and will bring together scholars, educators, and language practitioners to explore the dynamic intersections of multilingualism, literacy, and social sustainability.

Analí Fernández-Corbacho is associate professor in the Department of English Studies at the University of Huelva, Spain. She is member of the research center COIDESO (Center of Contemporary Thinking and Innovation for Social Development) and of the research group ReALL (Research in Affective Language Learning). Currently, she participates in the R+D project "MultiLits" (Multiliteracies for adult at-risk learners of additional languages, PID2020-113460RB-I00). She has also participated in several R+D national and international projects and coordinated the Erasmus+ project "Never Too Late" at the University of Huelva. Her teaching activity is related to applied linguistics, foreign language teaching/learning and teacher training. Her research interests focus on foreign language learning and teaching; the development of literacy; the inclusion of innovative approaches such as mediation or experiential learning. She has collaborated in the organization of events related to foreign language teaching/learning, and has been invited as speaker by several European universities.
